Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented ESG Specialist to join our award-winning team based in our office in Lisbon, Portugal.

 

You will be involved in researching, analyzing, support defining ESG strategies and assist in preparing detailed ESG reports. You'll work closely with our ESG team and clients to provide support on various ESG projects and ensure high-quality project outcomes. 

 

We envisage success in this role to include:

  • Assisting the implementation and delivery of ESG projects including developing ESG framework and writing high quality ESG reports. 
  • Conducting gap analysis and benchmarking studies with a focus on ESG data collection and comprehensive data analysis. 
  • Assisting in maintaining relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates on project progress. 
  • Supporting senior team members and contribute to reporting and documentation tasks. 

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include at least 2 years experience partnered with a Bachelor/Master degree in Sustainability or Environmental or ESG field. You will have solid understanding of international ESG ratings, standards and reporting frameworks (e.g CSRD/ESRS,GRI, IFRS S1/S2,SASB, TCFD) and understanding of sustainable finance and responsible investing. Knowledge and experience on topics such as Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation, Circular Economy, Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services or Social Impact will be valued. 

 

Fluent in Portuguese and English and a knowledge of a third European language will be an advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills and a team player. 
  • Ability to keep up-to-date with emerging trends in ESG, new regulations, and best practices is vital. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret ESG data and metrics 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
