Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for talented Project Engineer to join our award-winning team based in Kuwait.

 

We envisage success in this role to include:

  • Responsible for team leadership and subject matter expertise to the project to achieve time, cost, quality and safety targets.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the production of information with respect to the discipline-related services submittal progress.
  • Reviewing submitted shop drawings and material submittals (and the like) against the drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
  • Checking and ensuring co-ordination between discipline-related services works and all other disciplines.
  • Providing technical input and experience to resolve discipline-related engineering issues on the Project.
  • Monitoring the Inspectors performance to ensure that they are fulfilling their roles and responsibilities.
  • Supervising and technically assisting discipline Inspectors.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and more than 12 years of experience in a similar position. Having a Kuwait Society of Engineers membership is a must.   

 

Furthermore, you should demonstrate: 

 

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
