Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Building Inspector to join our award winning team in Kuwait. This critical role will be responsible for undertaking inspections on site in accordance with the civil related Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's)

 

  • Implementing discipline-specific inspection and test plans (ITPs).
  • Addressing Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors.
  • Reviewing shop drawings against contract documents, local codes, international best practices, and statutory requirements.
  • Identifying and report non-conforming work to immediate supervisor for appropriate action and issuance of discharge instructions to contractors.
  • Monitoring work quality and assess site safety, health, and environmental compliance.
  • Inspecting and report on the quantity and technical compliance of delivered materials.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date daily activity records, including progress photos.
  • Preparing Surveillance Reports for deficiencies and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as required.
  • Maintaining a daily diary.
  • Ensuring effective coordination between disciplines.
  • Providing technical expertise to resolve site-related issues.
  • Monitoring and review contractor ITPs and quality plans.
  • Communicating site progress information regularly.
  • Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and project management. 
  • Contributing to the successful handover of the project.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by team leadership

 

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will be a minimum 10  years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in a relevant Engineering field.
