Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Laboratory Technician to join our award winning team in Kuwait. This critical role will be responsible for undertaking inspections on site in accordance with the civil related Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's)

 

  • Conducting laboratory tests on construction materials (e.g., soil, concrete, asphalt) to ensure compliance with project specifications and national standards.
  • Analyzing test results and provide detailed reports on material properties, performance, and suitability for use in low-cost housing projects.
  • Assisting in the selection and sourcing of construction materials, ensuring quality control and adherence to project requirements.
  • Supporting the project team by performing tests to evaluate the impact of soil conditions on utility installations and overall site stability.
  • Monitoring and record the quality of materials throughout the construction process, identifying potential issues and recommending corrective actions.
  • Maintaining accurate laboratory records, ensuring proper documentation of all testing procedures, results, and certifications.
  • Preparing samples for testing, including collection, labeling, and proper storage in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Collaborating with engineers and contractors to provide laboratory testing data that supports decision-making and project progress.
  • Ensuring laboratory equipment is maintained, calibrated, and properly used to guarantee the accuracy of test results.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and environmental guidelines in all laboratory and field activities, maintaining a safe working environment.
 

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 8 to 10  years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in a relevantEngineering field.
