Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Testing and Commissioning Manager to join our PMI team in KSA,  Madinah. This position is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all testing and commissioning activities on a large-scale construction project. This includes ensuring that all systems, equipment, and components are tested according to the design specifications and operational standards. The TCM will work closely with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure that commissioning milestones are met on time, in full, and within the required quality standards.

 

We envisage success in this role to include;

 

  • Developing and implement the Testing and Commissioning Plan (TCP), ensuring alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and industry regulations.
  • Reviewing and approve all test procedures, checklists, and commissioning protocols. Ensure that all testing aligns with the project design and meets operational requirements.
  • Overseeing the testing of all electrical, mechanical, and systems-based equipment, including HVAC, fire protection, BMS, lighting, power distribution, and other related systems.
  • Monitoring and verify that all equipment and systems are installed and tested as per quality control standards and regulatory compliance, with a strong focus on safety.
  • Identifying and resolve any issues or defects during the commissioning phase and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
  • Maintaining accurate records of testing and commissioning activities. Prepare regular reports for the senior management team, including progress, issues, and risks.
  • Leading the preparation of all necessary documentation for client handover, including as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, test certificates, and other relevant materials.
  • Supervising and guiding the testing and commissioning team, including subcontractors, ensuring effective teamwork and performance.
  • Ensuring that all testing and commissioning activities are carried out in compliance with the company’s safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensuring that testing and commissioning activities are completed on time and within the budgeted resources.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15 years + partnered with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline)

 

Relevant certifications in Testing and Commissioning (such as ISO, ASHRAE, or equivalent) would be a plus
