Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented BIM Architect to join our award-winning team based in Amman, Jordan. The BIM Architect will be a key member of the Design team, responsible for utilizing advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) skills to support the creation, management, and coordination of architectural design documents.

 

We envisage success in this role to include:

 

  • Able to work independently and develop detailed 3D architectural models using Autodesk Revit based on architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Generating comprehensive 2D drawings, plans, elevations, sections, schedules and details from the BIM model.
  • Proficient in populating information within model elements.
  • Responsible of all possible exports out of the Revit models. (DWG, PDF, IFC, FBX, DWFx, NWC, CSV).
  • Supporting Project Architect on a day-to-day coordination with other disciplines.
  • Understanding and implementing document control procedures for drawings..
  • Planning drafting team workload efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Maintaining and updating parametric families and libraries for consistent and efficient modeling.
  • Providing support and guidance for BIM technicians.
  • Executing amendments to prepared models taking into account any changes/modifications on initial design.
  • Participating in coordination meetings and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Conducting thorough reviews of BIM models and documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance with design standards, and adherence to BIM protocols.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging BIM technologies, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.
  • Maintaining cloud collaborated models on BIM 360/ ACC.
  • Publishing and Packaging models on BIM 360/ ACC.
  • Able to achieve repetitive tasks using Dynamo.
  • Proactive in clash detection and clash resolution during modeling in Revit.
  • Proficient in clash resolution using offline (Navisworks) and online (BIM 360/ ACC) methods.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 8 years' partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor in Architecture or related field and a BIM Certificate from a reputable organisation.

 

Continued advanced training in the latest BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, AutoCAD) will be viewed favorably. English communication skills will be required at a professional level. Familiarity with industry BIM standards and protocols (ISO19650, COBie, IFC).
