Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Contracts Manager to join our team based in Dubai , United Arab Emirates. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the contract administration, commercial strategy, and legal documentation related to our construction projects. This role requires significant experience in post-contract management, including managing subcontractor packages, commercial negotiations, and legal drafting.

 

 

We envisage success in this role to include:

  • Managing all aspects of contract administration from award through to completion.
  • Ensuring  compliance with legal and contractual requirements for all projects.

  • Reviewing and interpret contract terms, conditions, and specifications.

  • Providing legal and commercial guidance on project scope, changes, disputes, and claims.

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiate contractual documentation, including change orders, letters, and notices.

  • Managing subcontractor agreements and oversee package management.

  • Liaising with the project teams, engineers, and PMC to ensure smooth contract execution and minimize project risks.

  • Preparing and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost control measures are adhered to.

  • Overseeing the preparation and submission of claims, variations, and invoices.

  • Advising senior management on commercial issues and legal risks.

  • Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 120 years career experience partnered with a Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

 

  • MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is mandatory.
  • Contract / Post contract and commercial experience required
