Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Project Manager (Sustainability) to join our Sustainability Consultancy practice, based in Dublin 2, Ireland.

 

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be managing a team to support clients in delivering green building certifications and advising on broader sustainability strategies for their real estate portfolio, and to additional target sectors.  

 

You will also be expected to contribute to the ongoing management, marketing pursuits and business development. You will have the opportunity to explore a broader range of sustainability consulting work as we expand our practice. 

 

We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Managing a portfolio of projects to ensure these are delivered on time, on budget and to client satisfaction. 
  • Maintaining and enhancing client relationships across a portfolio of clients. The Senior Project Manager is the primary client interface in our organisation and shall foster a commitment to excellence in respect to client service and team collaboration to ensure repeat business. 
  • Managing a team of 3 to 5 consultants delivering building certifications and associated technical scopes. Coordinate Human Resources aspects in conjunction with senior management. 
  • Overseeing and engaging in mentorship of junior members of staff to build positive and engaging team culture. 
  • Managing the business development process, writing proposals, executing agreements. 
  • Overseeing the contractual and financial status of project portfolio in coordination with senior management. 
  • Fulfilling the primary role of Sustainability (LEED/BREEAM/WELL/HPI/GRESB and additional relevant certification schemes) Consultant on projects. 
  • Leading and facilitating multidisciplinary team meetings, prepare meeting agendas and notes. 
  • Ensuring that meeting objectives are achieved, and that clear notes are circulated. 
  • Developing and maintaining an updated knowledge base about the industry best-practice in sustainability. This includes sustainable design, construction, and operational guidelines; internal management tools to streamline project delivery; and delivery of training programs. 
  • Exploring ongoing business opportunities to expand our service offerings. 
  • Embracing and improving upon our existing green and healthy workplace. 

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 5+ years of relevant experience in Sustainability partnered with a Bachelor’s Degree level qualification in build environment. More than 3 years experience working at Senior Management Level. You should also have active accreditation in (LEED AP with specialty/ BREEAM Assessor/ WELL AP /HPI Assessor).

  • Excellent working knowledge of green building certification processes (LEED, BREEAM, HPI).
  • Basic technical knowledge across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural, ecology) is required.
  • Ability to identify, manage and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Public speaking skills (industry conferences, meetings with internal global teams).
  • Familiarity with energy and environmental performance: conceptual energy modelling, daylight analysis, energy audits, renewable energy and rainwater harvesting systems, etc.
  • Experience with management of team, resources, and time. Ability to work in team environment and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat. Basic knowledge of CAD software desirable but not required.
