Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a Proposal Engineer (Sustainability) to join our award-winning team based in Amman, Jordan

 

This position is responsible providing administrative and operational support to the Sustainability Director on the client relationship, business development and pre-sales activities of the Sustainability Department across international geographic areas.  You will assist in driving the growth of the sustainability business unit and building KEO's market position by researching, identifying, qualifying direct or indirect lead opportunities, facilitating the business development process and activities, and leading on select proposal writing.

 

We envisage success in this role to include:

  • Proactively collaborating with business leads and the Sustainability Director to uncover new opportunities in sustainability, energy, and decarbonization in green and brown fields. 
  • Conducting research to identify and qualify target clients and potential partners, by understanding their needs, pain points, and business challenges. 
  • Facilitating communication, meeting arrangements and feedback for lead- and marketing meetings. Understands target client needs and aligning service offerings with their requirements. 
  • Attending and participating in screened events and conferences to promote KEO Sustainability services, obtain introductions and gain information on market trends.  Where relevant, plans and executes on events and campaigns driven by KEO Sustainability. 
  • Establishing robust working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to boost satisfaction and loyalty. 
  • Developing content and oversees the creation of a wide variety of clear and compelling customized, professional-quality marketing materials for current and new service offerings (most commonly includes written proposals, RFP responses, go-to-market plans, brochures, messaging and graphical presentations). 
  • Executing on various business development tactics including but not limited to identifying and overseeing relevant database registrations, database opportunity search, award Proactively collaborates with business leads and the Director to uncover new opportunities in sustainability, energy, and decarbonization in green- and brown fields. 
  • Managing the CRM tool by inputting and maintaining the data entries, identifying and mobilizing opportunities from other KEO Divisions, ensuring lead progress, flagging risk areas and overall effective use of the tool. 
  • Providing support in the preparation of pre-qualifications and tender submissions as agreed. Conduct follow-up on select submissions for an optimal win rate. 
  • Providing regular reporting on BD management and progress, and key account risks and opportunities. 
  • Stay updated and communicate industry trends, market research and dynamics. 
  • Performing other technical duties and provides the needed support in the field of sustainability, energy, and decarbonization. 

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include minimum 5+ years experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in relevant technical qualification Eg: Sustainability/ Environmental, Engineering, Architecture or Civil.

 

  • Proven track record of Sustainability portfolio development in the Middle East market 
  • Requires intermediate knowledge of client relationship and proposal-writing.  
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
