Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Designer to join our conceptual design team based in Lisbon, Portugal.

 

This position is responsible for leading conceptual design work for KEO's Global projects. 

 

We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Leads the design team under the direction of a Studio Design Director in charge of the project. 
  • Develops design alternatives to achieve either a design vision or client’s stated objectives. 
  • Functions as the liaison with client and makes presentations to client. 
  • Coordinates design drawings with engineers for their input. 
  • Liaises with site engineers and reviews overall design intent is being achieved on site. 
  • Coordinates with Project Manager on issues related to project schedule/completion. 
  • Interfaces with the Interior Design group, Site Planning group and Engineering groups in developing building systems. 
  • Functions as a Designer to the extent necessary to complete projects on schedule and within budget. 
  • Ensures that the design intent of a project is followed through until the end of the working drawings. 
  • Makes presentations to client and review overall design intent is being achieved on site. 
  • Coordinates and oversees design work with 3D visualizers. 
  • Performs other duties as required. 

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 5+ years of relevant experience, partnered with Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Master preferred. Association of License Architect.

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture, Rhino, Revit Architecture, Sketchup and PhotoShop, Illustrator and In-Design.
