Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Supervisor for Equipment Monitoring, Worker Housing, and Transfer Stations to join our team based in Jeddah, KSA.

 

This position will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and monitoring of equipment, the condition and maintenance of worker housing facilities, and the management of transfer stations within cleaning and waste management projects in Jeddah Governorate.

 

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient use of equipment, safe and adequate housing for workers, and the smooth operation of transfer stations to support project goals and regulatory standards.

 

We envisage success in this role to include:

  • Monitoring the usage, condition, and performance of cleaning equipment and machinery across project sites.
  • Supervising and inspecting worker housing facilities to ensure compliance with safety, health, and comfort standards.
  • Overseeing the operations of transfer stations to ensure smooth waste collection and transfer processes.
  • Coordinating with project teams to ensure that equipment is maintained, serviced, and repaired in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that worker housing meets local regulations and provides a safe living environment for project staff.
  • Conducting regular inspections of transfer stations to monitor operational efficiency and cleanliness.
  • Collaborating with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to address equipment, housing, and transfer station needs.
  • Preparing reports on equipment performance, housing conditions, and transfer station operations for management review.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 3+ years of experience in supervising equipment, facilities management, or related roles, preferably in public infrastructure or environmental services, partnered with a Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

 

Furthermore, you should demonstrate:

  • Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, facility management, and waste transfer operations.
  • Certification in facility management or equipment maintenance (e.g., CFM, CPMM) is an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple operational aspects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using monitoring and reporting tools for equipment and facility management.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
