Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Assistant Operations Manager (Cleanliness) to join our award-winning team based in Jeddah, KSA.

 

This position will be responsible for assisting in the management and coordination of cleanliness and sanitation operations within the cleaning and waste management projects in Jeddah Governorate. This role involves supporting daily operations, ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards, and improving the efficiency of cleaning services.

 

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing cleaning activities and maintaining high hygiene standards across project sites.

 

We envisage success in this role to include:

  • Assisting in managing and coordinating daily cleanliness and sanitation operations across project sites.
  • Ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards, local regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Monitoring the performance of cleaning teams and contractors to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Conducting regular inspections of public areas, streets, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and proper waste disposal.
  • Collaborating with project teams, contractors, and local authorities to address operational challenges and improve cleanliness efforts.
  • Assisting in managing budgets, resources, and equipment required for cleanliness operations.
  • Preparing reports on cleanliness performance, key metrics, and recommendations for service improvements.
  • Providing support in the implementation of sustainable practices to reduce waste and improve overall sanitation.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 3+ years of experience in cleanliness management, sanitation, or public infrastructure projects, partnered with a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Facilities Management, or a related field.

 

Furthermore, you should demonstrate:

  • Strong knowledge of cleanliness standards, waste disposal processes, and environmental regulations.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards related to public cleanliness.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Certification in cleanliness or sanitation management (e.g., CFM, ISO 14001) is an advantage.
