Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Operations Manager (Cleanliness) to join our award-winning team based in Jeddah, KSA.

 

This position will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily cleanliness and sanitation operations within the cleaning and waste management projects in Jeddah Governorate. This role involves ensuring that all cleanliness activities are conducted efficiently, in compliance with local regulations, and aligned with project goals for hygiene and environmental sustainability.

 

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that public spaces, streets, and facilities are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.

 

We envisage success in this role to include:

  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of cleanliness and sanitation activities across project sites.
  • Ensuring compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations and cleanliness standards.
  • Coordinating with contractors, cleaning teams, and local authorities to resolve operational challenges and optimize cleanliness efforts.
  • Conducting regular inspections of public spaces, streets, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
  • Developing and implementing operational strategies to improve efficiency and enhance service delivery in cleanliness projects.
  • Preparing detailed reports on cleanliness operations, performance metrics, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring and managing the resources, equipment, and budgets allocated for cleanliness operations.
  • Providing recommendations for improving cleanliness practices and implementing sustainable waste management solutions.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 5+ years of experience in cleanliness management, sanitation, or public infrastructure projects, partnered with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Facilities Management, or a related field.

 

Furthermore, you should demonstrate:

  • Strong knowledge of cleanliness standards, waste management practices, and environmental regulations.
  • Experience in managing large-scale cleanliness operations and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple operational tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Certification in cleanliness or sanitation management (e.g., CFM, ISO 14001) is an advantage.
