Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Terrestrial Ecologist to join our team based in Riyadh, KSA. As part of the job will have to travel to Al Ulla also.

 

We envisage success in this role to include: 

  • Working within our vastly expanding, award-winning environmental team based in Riyadh to support our projects nationwide.
  • Bringing energy and being self-motivated, drive and passion to their work and being able to build on the success of the existing team.
  • Supporting on wider environmental work when there is not site visits taking place.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 5 years experience partnered with a Bachelors in Ecology or Biology or Zoology or  Botanical Sciences or related subject. 

 

  • Previous experience of habitat assessments and mapping and also of ecological field survey methods and equipment will be mandatory. 
  • Previous experience of using GIS mapping software such as QGIS or ArcGIS will ve desirable.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of Environmental Management and Terrestrial Ecology, both in KSA and out with the Middle East. 
  • Demonstrating experience in project management, as well as knowledge of principles and practices of research and data collection.
  • Provides a successful track record of staying within budget and schedule on projects managed.
  • Member of an Environmental Accreditation Body (CIEEM, IEMA, etc) will be viewed favourably.

 

Bilingual communication skills in both English and Arabic are preferred.
