Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Architect Manager, seconded to our Client from government sector in Doha, Qatar.

 

You will manage technically the Railway projects/tasks in the Client side. You will be involved in studying, tendering and supporting O&M with technical expertise and developing scope & ER’s & general expertise to support the functional business and future strategic plans of our client. 

 

We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Supporting in the preparation of Design Concepts, technical studies and related presentations/ documents.
  • Supporting and developing scope and tender documents. 
  • Supporting and developing ER’s and Drawings as required for Railway Projects. 
  • Supporting in technical tender evaluations till the award of contractor/ sub-Contractors  Develop, comment and approve Requests relevant to Architecture submitted by the contractor such RFI, RFC etc. 
  • Reviewing and commenting the architectural and interior design drawings in the approved timeline. 
  • Reviewing and coordinating approvals for the finishes and material with relevant team Coordination and synthesis between the architectural, MEP, Landscape, systems and structural design Mock up/ Workmanship installation review and approvals.
  • Reviewing and approving the technical details, specifications in line with ER and standards  Report on progress (presentations, trackers, etc..) 

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include minimum 15 years of experience, experience in Rail Projects and architectural railway stations design, experience in large scale buildings and complex projects, partnered with a Bachelor degree in Architecture.

  • Team worker & time management Competencies.
  • Technical design.
  • Design Management (time, quality, sustainability).
  • Construction regulations and international standards.
  • MS Office, AutoCAD, preferable 3D Revit/ BIM knowledge.
